Protective Operations (Close Protection Specialist)

Security USA, Inc. Special Services Division provides strategic physical protection. We have provided and continue to provide our services to elected leaders, clergy, company CEO’s, celebrities and other officials.

The protection of an individual is comprehensive and goes well beyond surrounding the individual with well armed/ un-armed trained agents. As part of the Security USA’s mission of preventing an incident before it occurs, the company relies on meticulous advance work and threat assessments developed and implemented by our well established relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

Advances in technology and the world's reliance on interdependent network systems also have changed the way Security USA provide services. No longer can we rely solely on human resources and physical barriers in designing a security plan; we must also address the role and inherent vulnerabilities of critical infrastructures upon which security plans are built.

Protective Visits

In general, for protective visits, Special Services Agents travel in advance and conduct site surveys, which assess needs for manpower, equipment, hospitals and evacuation routes for emergencies. Fire, rescue and other public service personnel in the community are alerted. If flight is involved in the principal’s travel we prepare advance notice to the airlines special services, immigrations and customs and airport/rail law enforcement agencies.

Before a principal arrives at any location, a Special Services representative coordinates the arrival. Intelligence information is discussed and emergency options are outlined. Prior to the arrival of the principal, checkpoints are established and access to the secured area is limited.

Upon completion of our job we analyze every step of the protective operation, record any unusual incidents and suggest improvements for the future operations.
